The beach of Gran Tarajal has a lifeguard service during the summer

The mayor, Sergio Lloret, amongst other personalities, recently visited the beach of Gran Tarajal in order to see in person the setting up of the lifeguard service that aims at guaranteeing the safety and at protecting the health of beach users during the busy summer season. This service will guarantee any emergency situation or incident that may occur on the beach. The functions of the lifeguards include the rescue of swimmers, sanitary assistance to beach users, evacuation of injured or sick people and information to users of potential risks. .

 

Tuineje organises summer support classes in various cultural centres in the Municipality

The Ayuntamiento announced that until 23rd August support classes will be organised for pupils in infant school and primary or secondary education in the Casa de la Cultura in Gran Tarajal and in the cultural centres of Tuineje, Piedra Hincada, Las Playitas and Tequital. People interested in taking part in those classes that will be animated by students from the project of grants for practical training of Fuerteventura's Cabildo can register or request information at Casa de la Cultura in Gran Tarajal or by phone on 928162449.
