Feaga 2019 finishes with over 40 activities organised around the primary sector

The fair ended after the celebration of over 40 activities organised around the primary sector. The Cabildo's president, Marcial Morales, the mayor of Antigua, Matías Peña, the general director of the Livestock Department of the Canarian Government, David de Vera and the Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing councillor, Juan Estárico, all pointed out the success of this edition of Feaga that coincided with the declaration of the event as a regional fair of the primary sector. “The new premises of the fairground have given Feaga a boost”, indicated M Morales during his intervention.

Matías Peña congratulated Marcial Morales and Juan Estárico “for those premises that they have created” at the new fairground of the Experimental Farm of Pozo Negro. David de Vera congratulated the Cabildo for the new fairground of a Fair “that also aims at promoting the work for greater quality of production of the primary sector and to dignify the sector”. Juan Estárico added that “we have a new fairground, large and practical”. He congratulation Antonio Mesa, in charge of the Experimental Farm of Pozo Negro and director of the improvement project carried out on the premises. Before closing Feaga 2019, the political representatives presented diplomas to Ganadería La Pared, Ganaderos de Fuerteventura, the gastronomy programme “De la Gavia a la Mesa”, the Olivafuer Farmer's Association, Microriego, the Ecological Association Ecogavia and to the Association Arena Laurisilva that works for equality and prevention of gender violence.
