Inauguration of the photography exhibition called “Montañas con historia” in the House of Culture of Puerto del Rosario

WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR MUNICIPALITY?
PUERTO DEL ROSARIOThe inauguration of the exhibition called “Montañas con Historia” (mountains with history) took place in the House of Culture on Thursday 15th March. This exhibition is an initiative of the cultural association Raíz del Pueblo and aims at promoting the territory we live in and, therefore, helping us to discover ourselves, starting by some locations that allow us to see the horizon, where our dreams can unfold and where we can almost touch the sky... our mountain. The exhibition will stay open in the House of Culture until 13th April 2018 and is open from 9 am until 2 pm Monday to Friday.

New edition of Tetir's traditional market in Puerto del Rosario

WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR MUNICIPALITY?
PUERTO DEL ROSARIOTetir's traditional market took place on Sunday 11th March. It was organised by the Ayuntamiento's Tourism council with the collaboration of the Culture council of Fuerteventura's Cabildo and Fred Olsen that offered a boat ticket for two people and car hire in Lanzarote or Gran Canaria together with traditional products and other presents that were raffled as per every market. Pastries, traditional products and a good ambience are some of the characteristics of Tetir's Traditional Market that takes place on the village public square every second Sunday of each trimester. The next market is set for Sunday 10th June.
