Advantages of seawater for your hair

FMHOY - Fuerteventura

NUTRITIONSeawater is used as a home remedy and by the cosmetics’ industry for the benefits of its salts and minerals for the skin and the hair: calcium calms and strengthens skin cells and cleans pores; magnesium increases cellular metabolism; bromide has healing and anti-inflammatory properties; sodium chloride hydrates and eliminates toxins and zinc regenerates cells and blocks UV rays. Seawater has exceptional properties for hair care because it eliminates dandruff and excess grease, as well as nourishing it, strengthening it and helping with its growth. Either in the sea or at home, moisten your hair with seawater and rub your scalp energetically. For greasy hair, we will leave the seawater without rinsing for various hours but for dry hair, it is recommended to rinse it immediately after or the hair will become too dry. On the market, there are shampoos and conditioners with seawater combined with seaweed and plants that tone up, strengthen and bring life back to the hair that gives it volume.
